1. Awesome was a long evening drive and girl talk with a friend.
2. Awesome was being asked if I was over 19 (mind you, it’s been rare over the past several years that I’ve been anywhere that required I be carded).
3. Awesome was getting through the longest day of my summer vacation. I fly to Montréal today (Kuujjuaq tomorrow!) and yesterday, with all my bags packed, my apartment cleaned and my plans to go tubing on the Miramichi River a wash on account of rain, I had nothing really to do but sit around at home and watch TV and wait. Until now, I’ve done very well in overcoming my excitement and enjoying the moment, but the day before I start my trip to my new home, I can’t help but just be anxious to go 🙂
